This is my latest LP "Near Dark Near Light"

It's my newest exploration into #garage & #electronica which is the next evolution of my sound.

The premise of this album was to capture the essence of dark & light soundscapes that alternate between the tracks throughout the album. Sort of like a balance between the two.

"I don't understand how or why artists stick to only one genre. Maybe it's what sells or works for them. But there are so many genres out there waiting to be discovered & made & modified & created. Pioneer a genre. That's something I always wanted to do ever since I decided to start making music. I'd say ignite, explore, try new things, make new sounds."

"As a musician, my interests & inclinations span everything out there. Rock n Roll, the Blues, Folk & Jazz which is why I started learning the guitar, piano & trumpet. I mean why stay confined to one or similar genres when there's so much out there."

"So with this LP I went with part Electronica & part Garage trying to emulate artists like Four Tet, Burial & Bonobo, more Burial on this, but sort of stamp my own spin on it, with my own techniques & processes. It's like an experimental design to those genres with a touch of my own style. So on this LP it'll take you through a meditative journey through several styles & genres all in one LP."

"At the moment, no Indian artist is exploring or making #garage so I thought I'd try and be the first Indian musician exploring and creating within the genre."

"I went with the intent of mixing dark & light soundscapes that interweave their way alternating through the LP. The beats vary from 4x4 to more complex beats designed to sound different. There were times when I thought ok this sounds way too different but I just threw everything in there & made this LP come to life."

"Stick to one genre? Hell no. My next effort is something else & I'm always evolving my sound. So yea, here's a 14-track experiment. 'Near Dark Near Light'
